The Arla Foods Dairy Health and Nutrition Excellence Center (AFDHNEC) was funded in 2015, and is a consortium between Arla Foods amba, Arla Foods Ingredients P/S, Aarhus University and University of Copenhagen. The Center is founded in the spirit of exploring the competences between the four stakeholders to carry out  best-in-class dairy health and nutrition research and become a competency platform for knowledge sharing, training and education for all partner

Nutrition research

Intake of milk and dairy foods are known to have health beneficial effects for children, adults and the elderly. The Nutrition Research program within AFDHNEC sponsors science-based research on Identification, isolation and characterization of health associated milk components, including validation, quality and up-scaling of such and not least basic mechanisms of importance for the health benefits of dairy products and ingredients in in-vitro, in-vivo and clinical studies.

With this link you will find the Call for Expressions of Interest, a Guideline and a Budget Template (Call and Guideline are provided in Word and PDF format for your convenience). This year’s Call has been aligned with the previous version in a way that we hope will be received with enthusiasm and is welcomed as an open invitation to respond. This call is open to the Staff of the University of Aarhus and the University of Copenhagen.
