Upcycled side streams make delicious dairy beverages
Expensive raw material waste is a major problem for dairies that produce cheese, yoghurt and other products. After processing, many dairies are left with large whey side streams, which can cause environmental damage if discharged with wastewater.
Our concepts for affordable foods made with acid or sweet whey enable dairies to make maximum use of their raw materials – eliminating side streams, preventing harmful discharge into the environment and improving their business.
Using our whey-based ingredients, dairies can turn whey into nutritious beverages and other novel products with a delicious texture, standardised protein content and a long stable shelf life.
