Deploy

Deploy is the department in Innovation closest to our Supply Chain. We work on technology, improving processes, doing pilot trials, and start-up productions. We focus on quality and generating the data needed for making robust processes – and we focus on optimising our processes and testing new technology.

The pilot plant gives us a state-of-the-art facility where we can conduct small-scale trials in an environment mimicking production as far as possible. These trials are important to support new product development and production.

We have a wide range of pilot units, including filtrations, chromatography, heat treatments, hydrolysis and so on. The units are typically of a scale from 1 liter and up to 5000 liters of product, and the units can be combined into almost any process flow we can think of.
